Duration: 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch break

Perfect for: Potters, handbuilders, and makers interested in exploring traditional techniques with contemporary application. No prior experience with sgraffito, buncheong, or sanggam is required.

What to expect: Participants will be guided through demonstrations and hands-on practice led by renowned artist Unha Hill, focusing on Sgraffito, Buncheong, and Sanggam techniques.

Workshop details:

  • Workshop would be taught by veteran ceramic artist and Instagram sensation Unha Hill (IG Handle: @unhahill)
  • The workshop will cover Sgraffito, and traditional Korean techniques called Buncheong and Sangam
  • To participate, students should make at least 2 pieces that are in leather hard stage before the workshop, each should be 5 mm in thickness. All tools will be provided.
